JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

[KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED]
1. Artistic Skills - Good eye for design, layout, and color. Can integrate supplied and/or stock photos and illustrations with text. Can organize fairly complex and chaotic source materials into simpler, integrated, coherent printed piece. Produces exceptional graphics; decide when to use various effects. Some drawing skills. 2. Creativity - A talent for creating unique and practical design elements—that is also effective (from a marketing standpoint). 3. Technical, Computer-Graphic Skills - Understands color separation, optimization of scanned images. Can produce designs through computer programmes and is extensively proficient on graphic soft wares 4. Communication Ability - Sometimes known as visual communication, comprised with the ability to effectively present ideas—both verbally and visually. 5. Organization - Graphic designers are organized and naturally strategic in order to meet deadlines, maximize resources and stay within a budget. 6. Problem Solving Ability - Graphic design is a brainteaser. Choosing just the right fonts, colors and lines to create a balanced composition, while simultaneously conveying meaning, is complicated but would take it as a challenge.
